Content moderation and data access
Diyor's aim is to keep your communities safe. This page explains what Diyor staff can access when reviewing a use that breaks the rules, and the limits of that access.
| Situation | Outcome |
|---|---|
| Access to data by authorized Diyor staff | Possible with specific permissions |
| Review of reported messages | Possible |
| Review of server chat channels (including private channels) on suspicion of a rule violation | Possible |
| Bulk or continuous scanning of all servers or users | Not done |
| Reading direct messages (DMs) | Only when legally required |
| Listening to or recording voice and video calls | Not done |
| Review of deleted messages | Not done |
| A record of every view made by staff | Kept |
| Providing information to authorities | Possible upon a lawful request |
When is content reviewed?
Messages in server channels are reviewed only when a user reports them, when there is a concrete suspicion that the terms of use have been violated, or when a legal obligation requires it. They are not reviewed out of curiosity or for routine surveillance.
Who can access?
Only staff who have been granted access to Diyor's company panel. The permission is personal, and access ends immediately when it is revoked.
What is visible, and what is not?
- Messages that are still present in the server's chat channels are visible. For files, only the name and size are visible.
- Direct messages, deleted messages and voice or video calls do not appear on this review screen.
- Message content is not logged; what is recorded is who performed the review, in which server and channel, when, and how many messages were viewed.
Access logs
The identity of the person reviewing, the server and channel viewed, the time and the number of messages displayed are recorded. These records can be audited later; if access is misused, action is taken against the staff member concerned.
Legal requests
Upon lawful requests from competent authorities that have a legal basis, information may be provided, limited to the scope of the request.
